Based in Scotland, Caledonian Conservation Ltd provides a range of ecology and ornithology services for development and conservation in the UK. We also provide a range of environmental education and training services, as well as wildlife and wild camping experiences.
Through experience gained working for Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and Local Authority we are able to identify the optimal and most cost effective approach to any site, benefiting both the client and local ecology.
Services can be provided for any development or conservation project, with particular experience in onshore wind, railway works, mineral extraction, forestry and conservation research. We provide services for all stages of development, including ecological feasibility studies, ecology and ornithology baseline surveys, scoping, Collision Risk Modelling, Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA), Habitat Management and Monitoring Plans (HMMPs), discharge of planning conditions, Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) and post-consent monitoring.
